While at Vogue Knitting Live in January, Beryl & Lindy met Megan Graddy from PostStitch. PostStitch Knitting Club is a subscription-based service that delivers monthly knitting projects to knitters worldwide (read more). Our Zara HD Striped Scarf was a hit at VKLive and Megan thought it would be a great project for a Knit-A-Long on Ravelry.
“While we were at Vogue Knitting Live we met the talented women of Tricoter, a yarn shop in Seattle. We were blown away by their original patterns, including their show-stopping Zara HD Striped Scarf It’s a bold, 4-color oversized scarf knit with the super soft Zara and TSC ArtYarn’s Zara Hand-Dye. Up until now, this scarf has been a shop exclusive but we have convinced them to let us host a KAL!” – Megan Graddy/PostStitch
For the original piece we used two skeins of hand dyed yarn in completely different color families – something you might not normally or let’s say, comfortably do. We’ve always been in love with the concept of highlighting extreme color combinations with a bold black & white contrast so this piece was a natural for us.
More color inspiration is pictured below and all combinations are available in kits. All kits includes: Color combination of your choice, black & white contrast yarn, pattern.
